Role brief

Growth Roles summary, based on the employer's posting.

What you'll do

  • Create presentations, proposals, business cases and commercial offers for customer conversations
  • Open conversations with target accounts, develop new opportunities and grow your own industry network
  • Run RFQs, RFPs and quotes by gathering input from product, engineering, delivery and support
  • Keep pipeline records, forecasts and reports current while sharing market and competitor findings
  • Move opportunities cleanly into key-account or project execution and attend customer meetings and events

What you bring

  • Two to five years in automotive sales or business development
  • You can personally produce customer-facing presentations, proposals and business cases from the start
  • You are organized, self-directed and persistent about advancing opportunities and maintaining pipeline operations
  • You understand automotive OEMs and the way they make purchasing decisions
  • You are based in the United States and can travel to OEM meetings, offices and industry events

Who this fits

You’ll suit a hands-on mid-level business developer who can create sales materials, pursue target accounts and coordinate detailed inputs across internal teams. The role is based in Michigan and includes travel to OEM meetings, company offices and industry events. Building an OEM network is an expected direction, rather than a prerequisite at the outset.

From the employer

Set 3Ready as a premium, intuitive entertainment platform that maximizes content engagement while ensuring strong OEM relationships and high-quality UX across all car projects.
This role is essential for supporting the sales and business development teams throughout the sales cycle, ensuring smooth coordination, and providing business analysis, commercial support, and structured management.

Responsibilities

  • Produce the customer-facing materials — presentations, proposals, business cases and commercial offers.
  • Make sure the customer gets all information and we get all information back; be brought into customer discussions early.
  • Proactively reach out to accounts on the target list, source and open new doors, and build an own network over time.
  • Coordinate RFQs/RFPs, quotations and inputs with product, engineering, delivery and support.
  • Own pipeline hygiene, forecasts and reporting; feed market and competitor insight.
  • Ensure a smooth handover from BD to key-account/project execution; represent 3SS at meetings and events.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years in automotive business development or sales.
  • Hands-on producer — able and willing to create the customer-facing materials (presentations, proposals, business cases) themselves; this is core to the role from day one, not delegated.
  • Organised, diligent, self-starting; comfortable owning pipeline operations and keeping opportunities moving.
  • Proactive hunter mindset — willing to reach out to target accounts and build an own network over time, not only support warm intros.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills — the reliable link between customer and our internal teams; ensures every customer request is answered.
  • Working knowledge of automotive OEMs and how they make decisions.
  • US-based; remote with travel to OEM meetings, our offices and industry events.
  • Not required at the start: an established senior OEM network— but the ambition and trajectory to build one.

Experience in content industry or automotive is a plus.

Benefits

You get:

  • Compensation: Competitive salary, additional benefits such as health and retirement plans.
Location: Michigan State/US, with travel to main offices and industry events.
