From the employer

Contract Term: October 1, 2025 – March 31, 2026

About Us
At the Bermuda Health Council, we believe you can’t build a better health system without building
better ways of working. Guided by our S.H.I.F.T. values: Strategic, Human-Centered, Integrity,
Forward-Thinking, and Tenacity, we work to enhance Bermuda’s health system through awareness,
advisory, and advocacy. Our mission is to regulate, coordinate, and enhance the delivery of health
services in Bermuda to ensure quality, accessibility, and sustainability for the entire community.

The Role
This is a hands-on, in-office position for a creative communicator with the versatility to work across
multiple channels and formats. Every piece of content you create, event you coordinate, and design
you deliver will help advance our mission, ensuring Bermuda’s health system is clearly understood,
actively supported, and continuously improved. You’ll play a critical role in keeping our message clear,
engaging, and mission-driven, with the support of a collaborative team who values excellence and
creativity.

You will work across:
• Communications – Write and edit press releases, annual report content, and other key
publications that convey our impact with clarity and purpose.
• Social Media – Plan, create, and schedule engaging posts, reels, and stories using Canva,
CapCut, or similar tools.
• Graphic Design – Design professional layouts for reports, flyers, and presentations that are
visually compelling and on brand.
• Event Management – Support the planning and delivery of Council events, from logistics to on-site coordination.
• Multimedia Production – Assist with podcast and video production (experience is a plus, not
required).

What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience in communications, social media content creation, and graphic design
(Canva expertise required).
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to tone, clarity, and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with a high level of organization.
• Experience coordinating events and/or managing creative production timelines.
• Strong attention to detail, both in copy and in design.
• A collaborative approach and commitment to our S.H.I.F.T. values.
• Comfort working in an in-office, fast-paced environment where priorities can shift.

You’ll Thrive Here If You:
• Enjoy switching between creative and strategic work.
• Can bring ideas to life visually and in writing.
• Take initiative and approach challenges with curiosity and creativity.
• Care about accuracy as much as aesthetics.
• Value both independent ownership and team collaboration.

Contract Details
• Duration: October 1, 2025 – March 31, 2026
• In-office role at the Bermuda Health Council
• Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience
