Growth Roles summary, based on the employer's posting.

What you'll do

  • Own visual work across digital channels, facilities, physical products, and global brand moments
  • Build templates, guidelines, and design systems that keep the brand consistent as it grows
  • Turn engineering data and milestones into precise, polished visual communications with engineers
  • Lead vendor production through press checks and material trials to protect physical quality

What you bring

  • You can uphold brand standards while balancing speed with quality
  • You use restraint, clean typography, negative space, and clear hierarchy to create sophisticated design
  • You can interpret CAD drawings and mechanical specifications to keep technical details accurate
  • You maintain disciplined asset libraries and naming systems

Who this fits

You’ll suit a detail-focused senior designer who can move from creative direction into hands-on physical production and enjoys working with engineers. This is an onsite, maker-first position at Boom’s Denver headquarters, operating in three-week Agile sprints. ITAR and EAR rules require U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, protected-individual status under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligibility to obtain required State Department authorizations.

From the employer

This isn’t your standard design role. At Boom, we aren’t just building a brand; we are building the future of human connection by bringing back supersonic flight. We’ve already made history with XB-1, and now we are scaling that breakthrough across Overture, Symphony, and Superpower.

We need a Senior Brand Designer who is a "concept-to-execution" powerhouse—someone who can bridge the gap between high-altitude creative vision and the granular reality of physical production.

The mission

As a senior member of our creative team, you will be the primary steward of the Boom brand. You will translate our multi-program mission into a tangible, world-class experience that lives across our manufacturing facilities, digital platforms, and every global brand touchpoint. You aren’t here to just "slap a logo" on things; you are here to design the systems, the physical objects, and the visual stories of our technical progress that define a supersonic renaissance.

What you will do

  • From high-fidelity digital assets to facility graphics and premium, non-traditional "wow" gifts, you will own the visual output of the company.
  • You will build the master templates, style guides, and design systems that allow our brand to scale without losing its soul.
  • You’ll spend time on our shop floor and in our test facilities, working alongside engineers to turn complex technical data into accurate, beautiful, and refined visual communications of our engineering milestones.
  • You’ll manage elite vendor relationships, performing press checks and material tests to ensure that every physical object Boom produces meets our "Supersonic Wow" bar.

Who you are

  • You have the backbone to protect our standards. You are the definitive authority on how the Boom brand shows up in the world, and you’re comfortable navigating the tension between "fast" and "right" to ensure we never compromise on quality.
  • You value restraint. You understand that negative space and clean typography are as powerful as a full-bleed render. You build "Elevated Design," prioritizing sophistication and hierarchy over visual clutter.
  • You don’t wait for a brief. You have a discerning eye for detail and a relentless curiosity. You’ll dive deep into CAD drawings or mechanical specs to ensure every technical element in your design is accurate and intentional.
  • You think in frameworks. You take pride in organized asset libraries and naming conventions because you know that a small, fast team requires an impeccable digital foundation to scale.

Why Boom?

  • You will look back and say you were there when the world went supersonic again.
  • We move in 3-week Agile sprints. You will see your work move from your screen to the physical world faster than anywhere else.
  • This is an onsite, "maker-first" role in our Denver HQ. You’ll be surrounded by the world's most ambitious engineers and creators in our state-of-the-art facilities.
