What you'll do
- Research and produce engaging content that follows company practices and industry standards
- Revise copy in response to feedback from internal or external reviewers
- Deliver assigned work on schedule while meeting quality and output expectations
- Use company writing and work-tracking systems to manage your assignments
- Develop tailored writing for attorneys across locations, backgrounds and legal specialties
What you bring
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in English, communications, journalism or a related area
- Writing samples that demonstrate strong English and audience-appropriate communication
- Experience in legal, marketing, social media or journalism writing is preferred
- Knowledge of legal language, AP style, SEO and developing content-strategy practices
- Strong research, independent-work, teamwork and deadline-management skills

You’ll fit this role if you can write for digital audiences, apply close editorial judgment and adapt to changing needs. It is an onsite contractor position based in Eagan, with attorney-focused content work and stated deliverable and metric expectations.

Requirements:
- Research and write compelling content that complies with internal best practices and industry standards.
- Edit or revise content based on internal or external feedback.
- Accountable for meeting established deliverables and quality expectations.
- Maintain proficiency in company business systems including writing and tracking software.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- English, communications, journalism or related background is preferred
- Relevant writing samples are required for consideration
Experience:
- Writing experience in legal, marketing, social media or journalism field is preferred
- Working knowledge of emerging trends and developments in content strategy
Knowledge/Skills
- Legal concepts and terminology
- AP style / standard rules for grammar, punctuation and spelling
- Digital Marketing and Search Engine Optimization strategies

- Excellent English writing skills with demonstrated ability to successfully write for the desired media (marketing copy, blog posts, etc.)
