What you'll do

  • Run every stage of new-business deals, from finding prospects through qualification, negotiation, closing, and expansion
  • Lead consultative discussions with technical buyers and turn agent or tooling challenges into a clear value narrative
  • Work with Solutions Architecture on pilots, resolve evaluation blockers, and turn successful proofs of concept into contracts
  • Shape repeatable sales assets for this segment, including messaging, discovery guidance, objection responses, and competitive angles
  • Bring customer pain points to product and engineering when they could inform new product building blocks

What you bring

  • At least three years of full-cycle selling, ideally involving developer tools, infrastructure, AI, APIs, or technical SaaS
  • Enough technical fluency to discuss APIs, SDKs, authentication, integrations, agent workflows, and technical purchasing
  • Clear written and spoken communication, including concise follow-ups and straightforward explanations of complex products
  • Comfort creating structure and moving quickly while the sales approach is still taking shape

Who this fits

You’ll suit a mid-level seller who can prospect, run discovery, close, and help build a repeatable motion for digital-native accounts. The work centers on high-growth startups, developer-led businesses, and software teams building or embedding agents. This is an onsite role in San Francisco.

From the employer

At Composio, we are building infrastructure that allows agents to communicate with the tools you use for work including Github, Gmail, Notion, Salesforce, etc. We are a small team of engineers wrangling problems from context to search, that help us provide the most capable bridge between your agents and your tools.

We raised a $25M Series A from Lightspeed with some incredible angels like Guillermo Rauch (CEO of Vercel), Dharmesh Shah (CTO of Hubspot), Gokul Rajaram. Beginning of this year we 3x our ARR, our customers range from your friends in the YC batch to Wabi, Glean, Zoom and many more.

As Account Executive for Digital Natives, you will own new business with high-growth startups, developer-led companies, and fast-moving software teams building agents or embedding AI into their products. You will prospect, run sharp discovery, close deals, and help define the repeatable sales motion for this segment.

What you'll do?

  • own the full sales cycle across digital-native accounts: prospecting, qualification, discovery, technical validation, pricing, negotiation, close, and expansion

  • run consultative sales conversations with technical buyers and translate agent/tooling problems into a clear Composio value story

  • partner with Solutions Architecture to design pilots, unblock technical evaluations, and convert successful POCs into contracts

  • develop repeatable messaging, discovery notes, objection handling, competitive positioning, and deal patterns for the digital-native segment

  • work directly with product and engineering when customer pain points should become product primitives

  • meet and exceed individual quarterly and annual sales targets

"Must haves"

if you are very good, nothing is a must per-se

  • 3-5+ years of full-cycle sales experience, ideally selling developer tools, infrastructure, AI products, APIs, or technical SaaS to high-growth companies

  • technical curiosity - you can understand APIs, SDKs, auth, integrations, agent workflows, and technical buying processes well enough to hold your own

  • strong written and verbal communication: tight follow-ups, clear framing, simple stories about complex products

  • high agency and urgency: you are comfortable when the playbook is still being written and can create structure without waiting for it

  • taste for great developer experience and the ability to spot when a customer is excited, confused, blocked, or not yet ready

  • human - you build trust, ask direct questions, admit what you do not know, and follow through
