Deciphera is leveraging its proprietary switch-control kinase inhibitor platform and deep expertise in kinase biology to develop a broad portfolio of innovative medicines. In addition to advancing multiple product candidates from Deciphera’s platform in clinical studies, QINLOCK® (ripretinib) is Deciphera’s switch-control kinase inhibitor approved in many countries including the European Union and the United States for the treatment of adult patients with advanced gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) who have received prior treatment with 3 or more kinase inhibitors, including imatinib. ROMVIMZA® (vimseltinib) is a kinase inhibitor approved in the United States for adult patients with symptomatic tenosynovial giant cell tumor (TGCT) for which surgical resection will potentially cause worsening functional limitation or severe morbidity, and in the European Union for adult patients with TGCT associated with clinically relevant physical function deterioration and in whom surgical options have been exhausted or would induce unacceptable morbidity or disability.

Deciphera is seeking an Associate Director, Marketing – Romvimza to support the development and execution of an integrated marketing plan, with a strong focus on delivering impactful branded and disease state materials, driving consistent messaging across field and digital channels, and enabling effective commercial execution. The position plays a key role in building and implementing omnichannel marketing strategies, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure alignment with brand objectives, and managing initiatives from planning through execution within budget and timelines. Additionally, the role leverages analytics, insights, and market intelligence to evaluate performance, optimize marketing effectiveness, and continuously refine strategies to meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Support the development of an integrated marketing plan and drive execution (40%)

  • Create and deliver core disease state and branded materials, ensuring alignment with brand strategy
  • Develop field sales materials and programs with consistent pull-through of messaging
  • Serve as a brand champion by helping train, motivate, and inspire the commercial team to bring the brand strategy to life while keeping the voice of the patient central to execution

Build and execute comprehensive digital marketing and non-personal promotion strategies (40%)

  • Align with brand objectives, focusing on HCP engagement, awareness and activation across various media channels including programmatic, custom units, social media, paid search, CRM, etc.
  • Support the brand planning, tactical planning, and budget management process to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and on budget
  • Collaborate efficiently and effectively with agencies and cross-functional partners including sales, training, medical affairs, analytics, legal, and regulatory

Support development and implementation of measurement plan for marketing initiatives (20%)

  • Utilize advanced analytics, qualitative insights, competitive intelligence, and field feedback to assess the effectiveness of initiatives and refine strategies as needed based upon evolving business needs

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business-related and/or life sciences field required with 10 years of experience in pharma/biotech marketing
    • Experience in HCP and digital marketing
    • Oncology and/or rare disease experience
    • Strategic thinking, including being creative in addressing key challenges, applying innovative ideas, and taking measured risks
    • Effective project management skills to enable pull-through of marketing initiatives
    • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
    • Ability to thrive independently and in ambiguity, with an entrepreneurial mind-set and with a track record of exploring new ways of working, driving new opportunities and catalyzing others to build creative solutions
    • Operational knowledge of medical, regulatory, legal review process
    • Eager to work in a fast-paced environment, striving for excellence in everything we do, alongside a team driven by improving the lives of patients
    • Ability to travel (10-25%)

    Deciphera is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary pay range for this role is $174,000 - $239,000. Actual compensation packages will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to depth of experience, education, skillset, overall performance and/or location.​
