Who this fits

You’ll thrive if you can set regional strategy, turn analysis into commercial decisions and influence owners, agencies and market teams through a matrixed organization. The role is based in Singapore and involves travel of approximately 25% across APAC and internationally. Hospitality, travel, consumer, retail or other multi-market experience would be useful.

From the employer

The Senior Director, Regional Marketing & eCommerce – Asia Pacific (APACx) is the regional business strategist for Marketing and eCommerce performance across Hilton’s Asia Pacific markets outside Greater China. This leader sets the discipline strategy, operating model, growth priorities and performance standards that help markets, hotels and ownership groups capture demand, grow direct and digital revenue, and improve the return on marketing investment.

You will be the voice of the business, the region and the customer—turning consumer insight, market context and business performance into clear priorities across multiple markets. In partnership with Marketing, Loyalty and other regional teams, you will ensure local needs and market nuances inform integrated, omnichannel strategies that strengthen demand, revenue, market share, customer engagement and loyalty. You will connect the right audiences to the right channels and experiences, while enabling markets to make faster, more effective and commercially accountable decisions.

As the primary regional marketing and digital performance expert, you will build trusted relationships across Operations, Commercial, Brand Support, Development and other enterprise functions. You will represent the discipline with senior stakeholders, strengthen collaboration across markets and establish a culture of accountability, learning and continuous improvement—ultimately driving stronger revenue and channel performance across the region.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important, and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Own the APACx Marketing and eCommerce performance strategy, translating enterprise and area priorities into market-level growth plans, targets, investment choices and clear accountability.

  • Lead regional performance management across direct, digital and other demand-capture channels, using revenue, conversion, acquisition, cost, contribution and channel-shift metrics to identify opportunities and remove barriers to growth.

  • Build multi-year capability and operating-model roadmaps covering planning, measurement, consulting, media effectiveness, channel optimization, test-and-learn practices, automation and market enablement.

  • Set the regional approach to scenario planning, budget phasing and business cases, balancing near-term commercial delivery with sustainable customer and channel growth.

  • Engage regularly with Regional Commercial, Revenue Management, Distribution and on-property commercial leaders to review performance, identify demand and conversion opportunities, align marketing investments to business needs, and translate insights into measurable revenue, channel and share outcomes.

  • Lead, coach and develop a distributed team of regional Marketing and eCommerce strategists and consultants, creating a culture of commercial ownership, curiosity, pace and high-quality decision-making.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Partner with APAC Commercial, Revenue Management, Distribution, Loyalty, Operations, Finance and Development leaders to align channel strategy with hotel, portfolio and market business priorities.

  • Work with Global Marketing, eCommerce, Media, CRM, Analytics, Technology and Product teams to translate global platforms, playbooks and capabilities into practical regional adoption; provide performance requirements and feedback without owning product roadmaps.

  • Build trusted relationships with market leaders, hotel executive committees, owners, management companies, agencies, media partners and commerce platforms, including regular business reviews and performance escalations.

What deliverables you will take ownership of:

  • The APACx Marketing and eCommerce discipline strategy, annual operating plan and multi-year capability roadmap, including priorities, service levels, governance and investment recommendations.

  • A regional performance-management system with scorecards, forecasts, channel and market diagnostics, test-and-learn readouts, quarterly business reviews and clear actions for markets and enterprise partners.

  • Scalable consulting tools, playbooks, training and automation that raise the performance maturity of markets, hotels and ownership groups and improve the speed and consistency of execution.

WHY YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Economics, Analytics or a related field.

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in regional, international or global marketing, digital commerce, eCommerce, revenue growth or a closely related commercial discipline.

  • At least 5 years leading multi-market teams, cross-functional teams or complex regional programs in a matrixed multinational organization.

  • Proven experience setting strategy and improving business performance across multiple markets, brands, channels or customer segments.

  • Strong understanding of eCommerce and digital performance levers, including demand generation, conversion, acquisition efficiency, channel mix, marketplaces or direct-to-consumer models.

  • Demonstrated financial and analytical capability, including forecasting, investment prioritization, performance measurement, business cases and translating data into decisions.

  • Experience influencing senior leaders, owners, franchisees, agencies and market teams without relying solely on direct authority.

  • Ability to travel approximately 25% across APAC and internationally.

It would be useful if you have:

  • Experience in hospitality, travel, consumer, retail, marketplace or another multi-brand, multi-market business.

  • Experience operating across a franchise, owner, partner or distributed-market model.

  • Experience with experimentation, incrementality, marketing mix, media effectiveness, CRM performance or advanced commercial analytics.

  • An MBA or advanced degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics or a related discipline.
