Role brief

Growth Roles summary, based on the employer's posting.

What you'll do

  • Shape executive summaries, value propositions, and differentiators with the account executive
  • Pressure-test drafts for weak reasoning, unanswered evaluator concerns, and vague positioning
  • Coordinate PreSales, Legal, Finance, and Product against submission timelines and quality checks
  • Surface entity, contract, payment, and service-delivery gaps, then help build repeatable solutions
  • Maintain bid assets, lead post-submission reviews, and turn lessons into stronger processes

What you bring

  • Five to eight years in management consulting or complex technology and managed-services bid management
  • A record handling international competitive tenders, ideally involving technology, sport, or live events, above €1M TCV
  • Experience bringing legal, finance, and operations into complicated bid responses
  • Exceptional English writing, with French strongly valued
  • Commercial and contractual judgment covering service levels, risk, pricing, and legal or financial structures

Who this fits

You’ll suit work that combines persuasive writing, commercial judgment, and coordination across legal, finance, operations, product, and presales. You’ll need to challenge account executives constructively and keep contributors accountable without direct authority. The role is based at SECUTIX headquarters in Lausanne, with close access to leadership and central support functions.

From the employer

About the Role

SECUTIX is the Ticketing partner for high performers in sport and culture — powering some of the world's most complex live event programmes including Wimbledon, and Major League Cricket. As we scale internationally and extend our offer from pure technology to full managed services, we are adding a Bid Manager to raise the quality and rigour of our responses to complex international tenders.

Your role is to make that strategy land — structuring the written response, challenging the argument, and ensuring every section of the submission reflects the sharpness of our commercial positioning. You will also play a critical enabling role as our full services offers create new cross-functional challenges: legal entity structure in new geographies, payment and contract frameworks, and service-level commitments that our supporting functions are actively developing. You will be a key bridge between commercial ambition and operational readiness.

This role is based in Lausanne to work in close proximity to SecuTix leadership and HQ functions — the proximity is deliberate.

What You'll Do

Response quality & rigour

  • Structure and write the core response narrative — executive summary, value proposition, key differentiators — in close collaboration with the AE
  • Challenge drafts: identify weak arguments, unanswered evaluator questions, and generic positioning before submission
  • Coordinate input from PreSales, Legal, Finance, and Product; hold contributors to timeline and quality standards
  • Manage compliance matrices, review gates, and zero-defect submission process

Cross-functional enablement on full services bids

  • Identify and escalate structural gaps early in the bid process — entity, legal, payment, or service delivery challenges that require new solutions from supporting functions
  • Work with Finance, Legal, and Operations to develop reusable frameworks as STX's full services offer matures
  • Ensure complex service commitments are accurately reflected in responses and properly supported by internal sign-off

Institutional capability

  • Build and maintain a bid content library, proof-point bank, and response templates
  • Contribute to raising the overall bid quality standard across the commercial organisation
  • Lead post-submission debriefs and feed learnings back into process and content

What We're Looking For

Experience & background

  • 5–8 years of experience, with a strong foundation in management consulting (manager level or equivalent) and/or enterprise B2B bid management in complex technology or managed services environments
  • Proven track record on competitive international tenders — ideally technology, sports, or live events — with deals >€1M TCV
  • Experience navigating cross-functional complexity: legal, finance, operations involvement in bid responses
  • Experience managing bids involving complex procurement governance — multi-stakeholder, committee-based, or multi-entity evaluation processes — is a strong asset
  • Experience in the sports or live events industry is a plus

Skills

  • Exceptional written communication in English; French a strong asset
  • Ability to structure complex arguments — not just populate templates
  • Commercial and contractual literacy: understands service-level framing, risk allocation, pricing logic, and how legal/financial structure affects bid credibility
  • Strong coordination instincts — able to hold contributors accountable without direct authority

Mindset

  • You read a draft and ask: what question does this fail to answer for the evaluator?
  • You bring strategic rigor to a function that often defaults to administration
  • You're a strong enough communicator to push back on the AE when the argument isn't landing — and collaborative enough to do it constructively
  • You're comfortable working at the intersection of commercial, legal, and operational — and energized by complexity rather than unsettled by it

This role sits at SECUTIX headquarters in Lausanne, working in close proximity to the CEO, commercial leadership, and the Finance and Legal functions central to our full services expansion. The Lausanne base is a deliberate choice — bid quality at this level requires direct access to leadership, not coordination from a distance.
