Main Duties and Responsibilities Teaching, Learning and Assessment
  • Develop, prepare, and deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment activities across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
  • Undertake module leadership responsibilities where appropriate.
  • Design engaging learning experiences that promote creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and professional practice.
  • Integrate contemporary developments in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Web Design, App Design, Digital Media, and Creative Technologies into teaching.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods, learning technologies, and assessment strategies to enhance student engagement and achievement.
  • Ensure teaching is informed by current research, professional practice, and industry developments.
Curriculum Development and Student Experience
  • Contribute to the design, review, and enhancement of curriculum content to ensure academic quality, relevance, and industry alignment.
  • Support the development of international and intercultural learning experiences.
  • Act as a personal tutor and provide academic guidance and pastoral support to students.
  • Contribute to student recruitment, retention, employability initiatives, exhibitions, competitions, and industry-facing projects.
  • Support students in developing professional portfolios and preparing for careers within the creative industries.
Academic Quality and Professional Practice
  • Engage actively in quality assurance, quality enhancement, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Reflect critically on teaching practice and implement improvements based on student feedback, peer review, and emerging pedagogic approaches.
  • Maintain professional and subject expertise through continuous professional development.
Industry Engagement and Partnerships
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, professional bodies, and external organizations in Egypt and internationally.
