Senior Officer / Officer (26270056)
The Communication and Public Relations Office is seeking a self-motivated individual to support and drive the University’s corporate communications and public relations initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth daily operation of the Office through efficient administrative support;
- Provide secretarial assistance to the Head of Office, including managing calendars and coordinating meetings;
- Collaborate with team members to support event management and execute publicity campaigns; and
- Handle ad-hoc projects and assignments as required.
Requirements:
- A recognised bachelor’s degree and a strong track record of effective teamwork;
- At least five years of relevant experience in secretarial support and office administration (experience in corporate communications or public affairs is a plus);
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
- Detail-oriented, highly organised, and a strong sense of responsibility;
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset;
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office 365, as well as Chinese and English word processing; and
- Willingness to work on weekends and outside office hours when required.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written assessment.
Candidates with less experience will be considered for appointment as Officer.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review and mutual agreement.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
