  • Test sales messaging, scripts, and targeting while acting on direct feedback

  • A structured, dependable, hands-on approach that supports research, lists, documentation, and follow-ups

Who this fits

You’ll suit a junior internship built around high-volume sales execution, repetition, rejection, pressure, and fast learning. The role is based in Munich and includes close work with founders and the core team. You begin with sales immersion, then add a focused side project while continuing sales work.

From the employer

Business Development Intern (f/m/d)

You will spend ~90% of your time on Sales & Business Development execution and ~10% on a focused side track (Project Development, Marketing & Communications, or People & HR).

First 4 weeks: full immersion in Sales — high volume, hands-on, steep learning curve.
After week 4: you will take on additional ownership in a side project (10%), while continuing to operate at a high level in Sales.

We operate with speed, clarity, and high expectations — we strive for excellence.

Sales & Business Development (≈90%)

Your core responsibility is simple: build pipeline and create opportunities.

  • Execute high-volume, high-quality outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn, follow-ups) daily
  • Own parts of the pipeline: track, update, and move leads forward with precision
  • Prepare and support sales conversations, pitches, and partner discussions
  • Join calls, capture insights, and ensure rigorous follow-up
  • Continuously test and improve messaging, scripts, and targeting
  • Work directly with experienced operators and receive fast, direct feedback

This role is output-driven. You will learn fast because you will do a lot.

Side Project (10%)

You will contribute to one focused area to build structured thinking beyond execution:

Project Development

  • Support coordination and tracking of active projects
  • Help structure workflows and identify inefficiencies

Marketing & Communications

  • Support execution of campaigns and distribution
  • Help sharpen messaging based on sales learnings

What We’re Looking For

  • High drive, strong work ethic, and bias for action
  • Ability to handle repetition, rejection, and pressure
  • Sharp communication and willingness to learn fast
  • Structured thinking and attention to detail
  • No entitlement — you earn responsibility through performance

What You’ll Get

  • Real responsibility from day one — no shadowing internship
  • Direct exposure to how pipeline and revenue are actually built
  • Fast feedback loops and steep personal growth
  • Close collaboration with founders / core team
  • A clear understanding of whether you can perform in a high-performance environment

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistent, high-level sales activity and output
  • Rapid improvement in conversion, communication, and ownership
  • Strong reliability — things don’t slip through your hands
  • Earning trust → earning more responsibility
  • You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program (e.g. Business, Engineering, Geography, Agriculture, Energy or related)
  • First experience from an internship or working student job is a plus, but not mandatory
  • You are reliable, structured and hands-on – you like to support the team and get things done
  • Basic skills in Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides; you are not afraid of new tools (CRM, Notion, etc.)
  • You enjoy working with data and people: research, lists, documentation, follow-ups
  • You are eager to learn about Agri-PV, project development and sales on the job
  • You communicate clearly, ask when something is unclear, and keep others in the loop
  • Fluent in German (mother tongue); English is a plus
  1. Timing: You’ll be one of the very first team members at an early-stage startup with bold ambitions, bootstrapped to profitable seven digits in revenue and 5x growth YoY.
  2. Learning curve: You’ll take on real ownership and benefit from weekly feedback sessions with one of our founders. We know some of our team members may start their own company one day and want you to be prepared.
  3. Impact: Without a global shift to renewable energy, climate change cannot be solved. With our projects, we aim to enable sustainable energy generation and ensure that by 2035, 100% of electricity in Germany comes from renewables.
  4. Team: An ambitious & experienced yet close-knit team based in the heart of Munich.
  5. Track Record: In a very short time, we’ve positioned ourselves as one of the leading players in Agri-PV in Germany.
