About the Role:

A Country Trade Marketing Manager role leads the execution of our Trade Marketing strategy in Thailand and contributes to the development of the country’s annual Go-to-Market plans. This role works closely with Sales, Marketing, Commercial Development, distributors, customers, and external partners to translate channel and category strategies into impactful in-store execution. It leads the deployment of key Trade Marketing programmes, strengthens sales capabilities, and identifies opportunities to enhance product availability, visibility, and shopper engagement across channels. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and makes a visible impact in a dynamic FMCG environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of Trade Marketing plans aligned with country, channel, category, and brand objectives
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial teams to deliver impactful shopper activation and Go-to-Market initiatives
  • Identify growth opportunities through market analysis, shopper insights, and competitive intelligence, translating findings into actionable recommendations
  • Drive the deployment of Trade Marketing programmes, including MyPerfect Store, and monitor execution excellence through clear KPIs and performance tracking
  • Develop and implement in-store activation plans that enhance product visibility, availability, and shopper engagement
  • Manage point-of-sale materials and promotional assets, ensuring effective execution, timely deployment, and budget optimization
  • Collaborate with agencies, distributors, and external partners to deliver high-quality trade marketing activities and merchandising standards
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of trade marketing initiatives, providing insights to continuously improve performance
  • Build commercial capabilities by equipping Sales and merchandising teams with tools, training, and selling materials to support execution excellence
  • Provide Trade Marketing expertise across customer engagements, business reviews, and cross-functional projects

About You:

  • A university degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing, or a related commercial function within an FMCG or similarly fast-paced consumer environment
  • Good understanding of Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, and impulse channels
  • Experience in channel and customer planning, shopper activation, and point-of-sale materials management
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and market insights into practical actions
  • Demonstrated project management, stakeholder management, and presentation capabilities
  • A proactive, accountable, resilient, and results-oriented approach
  • Strong collaboration and people-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in English and Thai
