- A UAE base with availability for in-person work at least twice weekly
- Portfolio samples showing pitch decks or proposals that helped advance a proof of concept

The position is based onsite in Dubai, with the stated hybrid arrangement requiring in-person work at least twice a week. Arabic or French can strengthen your profile but is not required.

AHOY Playbooks supports the AHOY ecosystem through strategic decks and proposals that can be used by the pre-sales, sales, commercials, tech, and product teams, all laid out in the form of the right story.
We’re looking for a capable individual to lead the content strategy for these information systems, and support with refining these blueprints and documentation frameworks to help explain it all to developers and business leaders, alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bridge Gaps: Translate complex technical concepts into clear business language for non-technical leaders, and turn business goals into technical requirements for engineering teams.
- Design Systems: Create high-level architectural blueprints for enterprise systems, cloud integration, or data networks, to name a few.
- Align Standards: Assist with technical governance, and the ever-evolving library to constantly build for pre-sales, sales, technical, R&D, product and commercial teams.
- Mentor Teams: Guide and support the AHOY Playbooks team but also secure relationships with all the other teams AHOY Playbooks works with.
- Good communicator: Say more with less. The art of conveying knowledge on a wide spectrum is expected for this role through strategic decks and proposal outputs.
- Strategic Advising: Act as a bridge between business needs and technical execution, guiding stakeholders and external leadership on technology roadmaps.
Requirements
Core Skills Required:
- Experience of at least 8 years in the world of tech and system development
- Hybrid work model with the candidate being based in the UAE and able to meet in person at least 2 times a week
- Strong communication skills in English, written and verbal. Being able to do the same in Arabic or French is a plus point but not required
- Know how to write a technical story that secures a proof-of-concept result within 10 slides vs. 50 eye-watering slides. Don’t make your audience hunt for the answer on slide 18 and risk losing the plot
- Rapidly learn new technologies as well as strong presentation, communication and facilitation skills
- Time management to ensure AHOY Playbooks’ commitment matches business requirements
- Ability to anticipate needs – and help solve knowledge gaps - for pre-sales, sales, tech, R&D, product and commercial teams
- A detailed understanding of Tooling, Data Modeling, and Enterprise application integration concepts, including experience with enterprise integration tools, and common integration design patterns with enterprise systems
