From the employer

Business Development Executive (Outplacement & Career Transition) – INTOO UK

Home based | UK (with a London/South East focus)

Generous basic salary + commission

INTOO supports organisations through change with high quality outplacement, career transition and coaching solutions. We’re growing our commercial team and hiring a Business Development Executive to build new relationships and drive revenue across the UK and Ireland, with a strong focus on London and the South East.

This is a consultative role with a clear new business emphasis (c. 80% new business / 20% account growth) - ideal for someone credible with senior HR stakeholders and motivated by building pipeline and winning work.

The role – what you’ll be doing

  • Creating and delivering a focused BD plan to achieve agreed revenue targets

  • Proactively generating new leads and opportunities (you’ll receive some leads, but you’ll be expected to open doors)

  • Selling primarily outplacement/career transition solutions, with scope to grow into coaching and broader services over time

  • Engaging stakeholders such as CPOs, HRDs, Heads of HR, COOs and MDs across the UK & Ireland

  • Owning the sales process end to end, discovery, solution shaping (with delivery), proposal, commercials, close and handover

  • Managing and expanding key accounts to drive repeat business and increased “wallet share”

  • Working with Marketing on campaigns, events and conferences; building brand presence through networking and social channels

  • Using Salesforce to manage activity, pipeline and forecasting

  • Tracking market/competitor insights to inform conversations and service development

What we’re looking for

  • Proven consultative B2B sales experience (ideally 5+ years) in professional services / people solutions / HR related services

  • A consistent track record of new business development and pipeline creation

  • Confident and credible with senior HR decision makers

  • Strong planning, organisation and commercial discipline (including forecasting)

  • Exposure to outplacement / coaching / career transition / assessment / HR services is advantageous, but not essential

  • Excellent written and spoken English; high attention to detail

Location / travel

  • Home based, covering UK & Ireland

  • We’d ideally like someone based in the South East (London/M25/M4 corridor—Surrey, Berkshire, Hertfordshire) to support client activity and growth in our key region

  • Some national travel required and occasional international exposure may be possible longer term

Why INTOO

  • Boutique, solutions led approach with the backing of a wider group

  • Collaborative culture across sales, marketing and delivery

  • Strong progression potential as the sales team expands (including future leadership opportunities)
