What you'll do
- Create designs for experiences that span multiple channels, keeping accessibility in mind
- Take design needs from brief through approval and close them independently
- Develop straightforward visuals, logos and early-stage creative concepts
- Prepare production specifications and final assets with marketers for deployment
- Apply visual design across animation, iconography, illustration, branding and interaction work
What you bring
- At least three years of experience working as a graphic designer
- Strong business English and enough German to place German copy into designs each day
- A bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing and communications, or a related subject
- A portfolio showing strong concepts, ideas and human-centred design
- Working knowledge of Adobe Suite, Figma, Invision, Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint
Who this fits
This role suits a mid-level designer who can work independently, communicate and present clearly, and collaborate in an agile marketing setting. German is a day-to-day requirement, while French or another European language is helpful but not required. The position is remote, based in Cape Town, and runs on a fixed-term contract through the end of the year with a possible extension.

About you
- Experience in designing cross-channel experiences
- Ability to drive and close on design requirements independently
- Implementing best practices in accessible design
- Experience or familiarity with agile marketing and processes
- Experience working in an agile environment is a plus
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- The ability to create simple designs, simple logos and do low-complex ideation

Must Have:
- 3+ years of experience as a graphic designer
- Good business English language skills.
- German language skills to be able to adeptly flow German copy into designs daily.
- French (or other European) language skills are desired but not essential.
- Experience with pharma/health technology is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic design / Marketing & Communications or a related field
- A portfolio demonstrating experience creating great ideas, concepts and human-centred design, again any examples of pharmaceutical brands, is a plus.
- Experience creating production specs/assets, working directly with marketeers ready for deployment.
- Experience across a range of visual design skills like animation, iconography production, illustration, branding, and interaction design is a plus.
- Experience with a variety of design tools and services (Adobe Suite, Figma, Invision, Microsoft Word/ PPT)
