Role brief

Growth Roles summary, based on the employer's posting.

What you'll do

  • Optimize product pages across large Shopify catalogs to lift conversion and AOV
  • Find funnel bottlenecks in product listings and resolve them
  • Strengthen copy, offers, page structure, and visual hierarchy
  • Run A/B tests and assess their effect on revenue
  • Turn basic supplier assets into pages that convert, then isolate offer, design, or traffic issues

What you bring

  • At least three years of hands-on ecommerce CRO or conversion work
  • Strong experience operating Shopify stores
  • A track record of raising conversion rates or revenue
  • Strong direct-response copywriting ability
  • Knowledge of consumer psychology plus a performance-focused analytical approach

Who this fits

You’ll suit this role if you’re ready to own CRO from diagnosis through testing and can work against revenue results. Experience with DTC brands, dropshipping, affiliate funnels, or high-SKU stores is useful but not required. The position is fully remote, supports a flexible schedule, and is set at 40 hours per week

From the employer

Help scale brands. Own performance. Drive real revenue.

GTE is a fast-growing global eCommerce company focused on building and scaling brands across international markets. Here, ideas don’t stay theoretical — they translate into real growth.

We’re hiring a Conversion Specialist to own product page optimization, increase conversion rates, and improve AOV across large Shopify catalogs.

⚠️ Please Do NOT Apply If:

  • You do not have 3+ years of hands-on eCommerce CRO / conversion optimization experience

  • You have not worked with large product catalogs (100+ SKUs)

  • You do not have Shopify experience (required)

  • You have only general marketing / design / VA / content experience

We are only considering candidates with proven CRO performance experience in revenue-driven environments.

Why This Role Matters

Conversion optimization is a core revenue lever at GTE. Your work directly impacts how well our products sell across multiple brands and markets.

You will not “assist” with CRO — you will own it end-to-end.

What You’ll Own Within 90 Days

Success in this role means you'll be able to:

  • Independently optimize 100+ product pages for conversion and AOV

  • Identify and fix funnel bottlenecks across product listings

  • Improve conversion-driving elements:

    • Copywriting

    • Offer structure

    • Page layout

    • Visual hierarchy

  • Run and evaluate A/B tests with clear revenue impact

  • Turn supplier or basic product assets into high-converting product pages

  • Diagnose whether performance issues are driven by offer vs design vs traffic quality

What We’re Looking For

We’re excited to work with someone who:

  • 3+ years in eCommerce CRO / conversion optimization

  • Strong experience with Shopify stores

  • Proven ability to increase conversion rates and/or revenue

  • Strong direct-response copywriting skills

  • Deep understanding of consumer psychology and buying behavior

  • Strong analytical mindset (comfortable being measured on performance)

Bonus:

  • Experience with DTC brands, dropshipping, or affiliate funnels

  • Experience working with high-SKU catalogs or scaling stores

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base hourly rate is negotiable for strong candidates

  • Quarterly performance bonus up to €2,500 (eligible within first 6 months)

  • 40 hours/week, flexible schedule

  • Fully remote

Hiring Process

  • HR Screening -> Interview -> CEO Interview
