This position will be a hybrid work arrangement. You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval. For example, you may choose to work in the office 4 days per week and take one remote day weekly (typically 13 weeks per quarter), leaving 5 additional remote days to be used as needed.


The Senior Associate, Client Marketing will help shape and deliver integrated marketing programs for HarbourVest's Global Private Wealth business. This role translates fundraising priorities, product focus areas, and audience insights into targeted campaigns, engagement programs, and educational initiatives across wealth audiences. Working closely with Investor Relations, Product Specialists, Commercial Operations, and regional marketing teams, the role will support distribution partner, platform, and advisor segments throughout the client lifecycle. As part of a newly established team, the role will also help build scalable marketing processes, audience engagement strategies, and campaign capabilities across regions.


The ideal candidate is someone who is:

  • A strategic, hands-on marketer who can develop campaign ideas and drive execution across multiple channels and audience segments.
  • Fluent in wealth audiences, with familiarity across intermediary distribution channels including platforms, home offices, wirehouses, RIAs, and private banks.
  • Experienced in developing audience-centric marketing programs, nurture journeys, and engagement strategies that support fundraising and business growth.
  • Analytical, with experience applying audience insights, engagement data, and campaign performance metrics to improve targeting and personalization.
  • Highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable working across regions, teams, and approval processes.
  • Comfortable balancing multiple priorities including campaigns, product launches, educational programs, events, and advisor engagement initiatives.

What you will do:

  • Build integrated marketing campaigns aligned with Global Private Wealth fundraising priorities, supporting awareness, engagement, platform adoption, and asset growth.
  • Translate inputs from Investor Relations, business leadership, and product teams into campaign concepts, messaging frameworks, audience plans, and activation strategies.
  • Define audience strategies across global wealth segments, including home office, platform, wirehouse, RIA, private bank, and financial advisor groups.
  • Develop audience journeys and nurture programs that deliver personalized communications and significant engagement throughout the client lifecycle.
  • Partner with Commercial Operations to harness internal and third-party data for audience segmentation, personalization, campaign measurement, and engagement tracking.
  • Deploy campaigns across channels including email, web, paid media, social media, and advisor-facing communications.
  • Incorporate sponsored and owned events, webinars, roadshows, educational programs, and client engagement opportunities into broader marketing plans.
  • Support product launches, onboarding initiatives, and advisor education programs through coordinated marketing campaigns, launch promotions, and engagement activities.
  • Partner with Product Specialists and Investor Relations teams to develop advisor-facing communications and deliver educational content, sales enablement materials, and engagement programs that drive advisor awareness, adoption, and long-term product utilization.
  • Coordinate development and adaptation of campaign materials, including emails, landing pages, digital assets, presentations, and related collateral.
  • Lead campaign timelines, dependencies, workflows, reviews, and approvals to ensure high-quality, timely delivery.
  • Track campaign results and audience engagement, applying insights to refine targeting, messaging, sequencing, and channel strategy.
  • Generate actionable engagement insights and sales signals that inform Investor Relations follow-up activities and future marketing strategies.
  • Build scalable campaign processes, documentation, reporting practices, and guidelines.

Education Preferred

  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), or equivalent experience.

Experience

  • 5-8 years of marketing experience within the asset management industry, preferably supporting intermediary distribution channels.


Base Salary Range

$115,000.000 - $125,000.00

This USD base salary range represents only one component of total compensation for this role and is provided in accordance with local requirements. This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which is determined based on individual and overall firm performance. In addition to salary and bonus eligibility, total compensation may include participation in long-term reward programs (typically for more senior-level roles). We also offer a comprehensive total rewards package that may include retirement contributions, health insurance, income protection, paid time off and leave benefits as well as well-being programs. Our total rewards offerings are influenced by several business factors, and eligibility for certain components will vary by position and geography. Please note the posted ranges do not apply outside the U.S. and should not be converted to other currencies as a proxy for compensation in other countries.
