Key Accountabilities
- Aggressively target the solicitation of business from key market segments: corporate, consortia, wholesale, partnership programs, government and group (i.e. meeting, incentive, convention and event) to achieve annual room and banquet revenue targets.
- Manage 9+ members in the sales team. Continuously grow , motivate and develop talents.
- Develop sales strategy, promotions, activities and budget as required to support Director of Sales & Marketing in preparing the annual marketing plan and budget.
- Track and monitor the productivity (i.e. room and banquet targets, sales calls, site inspections, entertainment, etc.…) of each sales staff and provide guidance as required.
General Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in hotel sales and/or marketing, including management-level experience.
- Strong knowledge of multiple market segments including Rooms, MICE/Events, Corporate, and Leisure.
- Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue.
- Strong relationship building and negotiation skills with corporate clients, agents, and travel partners.
- Solid analytical skills including budget planning, revenue forecasting, and KPI management.
- Prior experience in people management with international team. Fluency in English.
