Growth Roles summary, based on the employer's posting.

What you'll do

  • Make high-volume outbound calls to U.S. business owners, executives, and high-net-worth prospects
  • Qualify prospects, schedule strong appointments, and manage follow-ups through phone, email, and SMS
  • Keep CRM pipeline records accurate while improving scripts, sequences, and objection responses
  • Measure activity and conversion results, then use the findings to improve the sales funnel
  • Build the outbound playbook and later recruit, train, and coach SDRs through call reviews and KPIs

What you bring

  • Near-native spoken English with a polished, confident phone style for U.S. executives and affluent clients
  • Several years of target-hitting experience in high-volume cold calling and appointment setting
  • Previous responsibility for supervising, training, or mentoring SDRs or BDRs
  • A lead-from-the-front approach, with most of your early time spent generating results personally

Who this fits

You’ll suit a player-coach assignment that starts with hands-on outbound selling before expanding into SDR leadership. The role is fully remote from South Africa and focuses on U.S.-based prospects. Experience launching outbound teams, using GoHighLevel or similar CRM and dialer tools, or selling to HNW and C-suite buyers would be useful.

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are seeking a high-performance sales professional to serve as the foundational member of a brand-new outbound sales department. This is a unique "player-coach" role designed for a cold-calling expert who isn't afraid to get on the phones, but who also possesses the leadership caliber to build a department from the ground up. You will initially lead by example—personally qualifying high-net-worth prospects and U.S. executives—before transitioning into a leadership role where you will recruit, train, and manage a team of SDRs. This is your opportunity to own the outbound playbook for an industry leader in the private aviation space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute high-volume outbound calling campaigns targeting U.S. business owners, executives, and HNW individuals.
  • Qualify leads and book high-quality appointments while managing follow-ups across phone, email, and SMS.
  • Maintain rigorous CRM pipeline data and refine outbound scripts, sequences, and objection-handling techniques.
  • Track and report on critical activity and conversion metrics to optimize the sales funnel.
  • Develop the company’s outbound sales playbook, documenting best practices for future hires.
  • Recruit, onboard, and coach future SDRs, conducting call reviews and setting performance KPIs.

Requirements

  • Exceptional Spoken English: You must possess a near-native, polished, and confident phone presence suitable for engaging with U.S.-based executives and affluent clients.
  • Proven Outbound Track Record: Multiple years of experience in high-volume cold calling and appointment setting. You must demonstrate a history of hitting targets in a hunter-style environment (inbound or customer service backgrounds will not be considered).
  • Leadership & Coaching Experience: Prior experience supervising, training, or mentoring SDRs/BDRs. You are comfortable holding a team accountable to metrics and performance standards.
  • Tactical Execution: A "lead from the front" mentality, spending the first 70–80% of your time in the trenches generating results before scaling the team.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience launching an outbound sales function or department from scratch.
  • Proficiency with GoHighLevel or similar CRM and outbound dialer technologies.
  • Background in selling to high-net-worth (HNW) individuals or the C-suite.
  • Previous experience in the private aviation or luxury travel sectors.
