From the employer
IBMC is assisting a dynamic and rapidly expanding Regional F&B & Lifestyle Group with business operations across Singapore, Indonesia, and other regional markets. The group creates, manages, and scales distinct hospitality and lifestyle concepts. We are seeking a highly creative and independent Mid-to-Senior Graphic Designer to join the Design & Projects team in Jakarta and take ownership of visual brand identities across our portfolio.
We are looking for a practical, self-driven Graphic Designer with a strong foundation in Branding Identity and Print Collateral Design. While many modern designers focus primarily on social media content, our main priority is finding a professional with proven agency experience in building brand identity systems from scratch, including logos, comprehensive brand guidelines, packaging, menus, brochures, POS materials, and promotional assets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, and external vendors) to elevate brand touchpoints across regional markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Identity & Systems: Conceptualize, build, and maintain full brand identity systems, including logos, visual identity frameworks, typography guidelines, and corporate brand books for F&B and lifestyle concepts.
- Print & Marketing Collateral: Design high-impact physical assets, including product packaging, F&B menus, promotional brochures, POS/in-store displays, signage, and marketing collateral (social media assets included as secondary focus).
- Production & Vendor Coordination: Prepare print-ready final artwork (FA), review color proofs, and liaise directly with printing vendors, production houses, and operations teams to ensure accurate execution.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, operations, and cross-functional teams to align creative outputs with business goals, present mock-ups, and deliver high-quality assets on schedule.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure strict visual consistency across all customer-facing touchpoints (digital and physical) across multiple group brands.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design (DKV), Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably from a Creative/Branding Agency handling multiple clients and brands.
- Branding Mastery: A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end expertise in logo design, brand identity creation, brand guidelines, packaging, and print collateral (social media design is a plus, but not the main focus).
- Software Proficiency: Expert command of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and print preparation standards.
- Vendor & Print Knowledge: Solid understanding of typography, color theory, layout principles, paper stock, and pre-press/print production processes.
- Work Ethic: Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia for seamless project and vendor coordination.
Benefits
- Regional Exposure: Opportunity to work on regional design projects across Singapore, Indonesia, and other markets.
- Group Perks: Staff discounts and brand perks across the group's F&B and lifestyle portfolio.
- Career Growth: Career development opportunities within a growing lifestyle hospitality group.
