As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Integrity, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities through prospecting, lead generation, and customer acquisition activities. This role focuses on building and maintaining a pipeline of prospective enterprise-level customers and generating qualified new business opportunities aligned with company objectives.

The Business Development Representative serves as a liaison between prospective customers and internal sales teams, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience and strong foundation for long-term partnerships. In this role, the BDR collaborates closely with sales leadership and account management teams to support account growth while maintaining high levels of customer engagement and professionalism.

The BDR requires strong communication skills, organization, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. This position reports to the Enterprise Account Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:

Sales Prospecting & New Business Acquisition

  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, email outreach, networking, and other lead generation strategies, to identify potential enterprise-level customers.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers through consistent prospecting activity and follow-up efforts.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities based on customer fit, transportation spend, geography, modes, and business needs.
  • Schedule and participate in discovery calls and initial customer meetings.
  • Present IEL’s services and value proposition aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Support the onboarding process for newly acquired customers.

Customer Transition & Internal Collaboration

  • Coordinate the transition of newly acquired customers to Enterprise Account Managers (EAMs) and Enterprise Customer Relationship Managers (ECRMs).
  • Communicate customer expectations, operational requirements, and relevant account information to internal teams to support a successful transition.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Account Sales Managers (EASM), Enterprise Sales Operations Managers (ESOM), and other internal business partners regarding account fit, onboarding, and transition planning.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams throughout the customer acquisition and transition process.

Sales Process & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospecting activity, customer interactions, and pipeline updates within company systems.
  • Represent IEL professionally in all customer interactions and communications.
  • Follow established sales processes, procedures and best practices.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience with lead generation, prospecting, or sales development
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
