About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Business Solution Engineer Expert (Subject Matter Expert) with deep expertise in CAD Routing and engineering product definition. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience working with engineering design and product lifecycle management tools, enabling them to support business users, drive process improvements, and act as the functional expert within the domain.
This role requires close collaboration with engineering teams, IT stakeholders, and business users to ensure efficient, standardized, and high-quality engineering workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for CAD routing and related engineering applications.
Partner closely with end users to understand challenges, identify pain points, and recommend process improvements.
Provide functional expertise and business requirements to support application development and enhancements.
Ensure engineering methods, standards, and best practices remain current and aligned with business needs.
Develop, update, and maintain engineering methods and process documentation.
Create user guides, training materials, and knowledge documentation.
Deliver training sessions for end users as well as train-the-trainer programs.
Act as the go-to expert for application-related questions, troubleshooting, and functional support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve engineering productivity and solution adoption.
Requirements:
Extensive experience as an end user of engineering design and product definition systems.
Strong knowledge of CAD routing methodologies and engineering workflows.
Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
Experience creating technical documentation, engineering standards, and training content.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, business, and IT teams.
