Role brief
Growth Roles summary, based on the employer's posting.
What you'll do
- Run sales and marketing operations, making HubSpot the core system and linking it with ChatGPT and other tools
- Turn LinkedIn conversation records into structured insight that improves ICPs, playbooks, outreach, and other channels
- Work with SDRs to find manual tasks, then build automations that return time to high-value conversations
- Launch paid LinkedIn campaigns after messaging is validated, connecting account targeting to conversation learnings
- Document and maintain the operational setup so it remains usable as the team grows
What you bring
- Hands-on HubSpot building across workflows, integrations, lead routing, and data hygiene
- Practical experience creating reliable systems with Zapier, Make, n8n, custom GPTs, or APIs
- Enough performance marketing experience to run and learn from paid LinkedIn campaigns
- Experience improving day-to-day work for sales or SDR teams
- A track record of independently finding operational problems and implementing fixes
Who this fits
You’ll suit this role if you build systems directly, work independently, and can understand complex products and customer needs quickly. The role is remote and sits at the intersection of marketing operations, sales operations, SDR enablement, automation, and paid LinkedIn. It is a poor match for primarily content, brand, social, or email marketers, consultants who do not implement, or sales professionals seeking a lateral move.
From the employer
Gameopedia makes sure the biggest tech companies know exactly which game they're looking at. Same game, different edition, different platform, different name. Their data sorts it out, and YouTube and Discord rely on it.
They've been doing it for 20 years and cover 180,000+ games, and it's also what helps AI get its game facts right.
The hard bit is already done. LinkedIn outreach gets a 30% reply rate and every conversation is captured. What's missing is the engine connecting it all, so the SDRs can stop doing manual work and start having more of those conversations.
You'll take over sales and marketing ops, make HubSpot and ChatGPT the backbone of the operation, automate the low-value work, and bring paid LinkedIn in once the messaging is proven.
You'll be building on something that already works, with real ownership, in a lean team set to grow, and with deals starting at $100k a year, everything you build counts. What you’ll own:
Marketing & Sales Operations
You're a builder. You've been the person who set up the CRM, connected the tools that didn't want to talk to each other, and automated the work everyone else was doing by hand. You don't wait for a brief. You spot the problem, design the fix, and make it work inside the team.

Marketing & Sales Operations
- Take over the sales ops and marketing ops work currently sitting with the commercial lead.
- Build out HubSpot as the operational backbone, and connect it to ChatGPT and the other tools in the stack.
- Keep the setup documented and maintainable as the team grows.
- Turn documented LinkedIn conversations into structured insight: what's working, what isn't, and with whom.
- Feed those insights back into ICP and playbook documentation, and from there into the outreach itself and other channels.
- Automate as much of that loop as practical, so it runs consistently rather than when someone has time.
- Sit down with the SDRs, understand what they do day to day, and identify what can be automated.
- Build and roll out those automations so the SDRs spend their time on high-value conversations.
- Once the learnings are in place and messaging is validated, start deploying paid LinkedIn campaigns alongside outreach, targeting the accounts and people already in conversation.
- Connect paid activity to the insight loop, so targeting and messaging draw on what the conversations show.
- Help shape new ways of working on media buying within the martech stack.

You'll have:
- Hands-on experience building in HubSpot (workflows, integrations, lead routing, data hygiene), not just running campaigns and reports
- Practical experience using AI and automation tools (Zapier, Make, n8n, custom GPTs, APIs) to build systems that run consistently, not one-off prompts
- A working understanding of performance marketing, enough to plan, run, and learn from paid LinkedIn campaigns
- Experience working alongside sales or SDR teams and making their day-to-day easier
- A track record of diagnosing problems independently and building the fix without detailed direction
- The ability to get your head around complex products and customer needs quickly
- Experience in a small B2B team where you had to figure things out yourself
- Exposure to long sales cycles and high-value, low-volume deals
- Familiarity with technical or data-driven products
- Your background is mainly content, brand, social, or email marketing
- You're a strategist or consultant who advises but doesn't implement
- You need a detailed brief or a lot of direction to get going
- Your HubSpot experience stops at sending campaigns and pulling reports
- You're an SDR or sales professional looking for a step sideways
