What you'll do

- Strong English communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities

From the employer
- Bachelor's degree or above in Medical, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of sales experience in the medical device industry, preferably with direct experience in laparoscopy, minimally invasive surgery, surgical imaging, energy devices, or laparoscopic instruments.
- Candidates with sales experience working with laparoscopic systems, 4K/3D imaging systems, ICG/fluorescence systems, electrosurgical units, or laparoscopic instruments will be highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of laparoscopic procedures and operating room workflows, with the ability to communicate effectively with surgeons and clinical users.
- Hands-on OR experience is strongly preferred. The candidate should be comfortable entering the operating room, supporting clinical procedures, and conducting product demonstrations or clinical applications.
- Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills, with the ability to understand surgeons' clinical requirements and translate them into appropriate product solutions.
- Experience working with surgeons, KOLs, hospitals, distributors, and procurement teams is preferred.
- Proven ability to independently develop new accounts, manage sales opportunities, and drive projects from initial customer contact through product evaluation, tender/procurement, order placement, installation, and post-sales support.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across South India and support surgeries, demonstrations, conferences, and customer activities as required.
- Good command of English; proficiency in relevant South Indian languages will be an advantage.
