About the Role
Mass Market is the largest customer segment at Nu — tens of millions of people for whom Nu is the first financial relationship they have ever trusted. This role owns how that relationship grows: how customers discover our products, understand what they are for, adopt them, and expand across the portfolio over time.
It also carries two of Nu’s boldest strategic bets: Under 18, where we are building a financial relationship with the next generation, and NuCel, where we are extending the Nu experience into a category nobody expected a financial institution to enter.
You will own the product marketing and lifecycle agenda end to end — from value proposition definition and go-to-market, through cross-sell and product performance of the complete portfolio, to hyper-personalized customer journeys built on in-depth data insight and AI. You will also own our direct communications strategy, in-app and off-app: the interactions that the majority of our customers have with Nu every day.
You will be accountable for making our brand positioning tangible at every touchpoint, turning relevance into portfolio and revenue growth for the segments you lead. You will report to a Senior Marketing Director and lead a team of 9, including managers.
You’ll be Responsible for:
Value proposition and go-to-market: Defining, championing and continuously refreshing the value proposition for the Mass Market portfolio and for our strategic bets — Under 18 and NuCel — so they stay sharp as the product, the market and the customer evolve. Building and executing go-to-market strategies for launches and product evolutions across the portfolio, orchestrating brand, product, channels, and local and global teams behind coherent narratives.
Owning the cross-sell and product performance agenda for the complete portfolio: setting the strategy, agreeing on marketing goals, diagnosing gaps, and making the trade-offs on where to invest customers’ attention and channel capacity. Holding shared accountability for the cross sell and product-related OKRs of each segment.
Lifecycle, personalization and AI: Designing hyper-personalized customer journeys using in-depth data insight and AI. Owning the direct communications strategy in-app and off-app, making sure every interaction earns our customers’ attention. Leading the application of AI across the team’s operation — from journey design and content production through to measurement — with rigorous KPIs, and scaling what works beyond your own scope.
Strategic partnerships: Partnering with local and global product and platform teams to shape roadmaps around customer needs and to secure the capabilities your deliverables depend on. Influencing the segment and global products strategies and leading the 12-month strategy for your area, cascading it into tactical plans your team and partners can act on.
Leading a team of 9 people, including managers. Ensuring operational excellence and proper risk management across everything the area ships.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
Required
Built and led marketing agendas as a seasoned generalist — someone who has moved across branding, campaigns, innovation, and product management rather than specializing in a single lane.

Been directly accountable for brand and business performance, with clear P&L impact.
Taken new products or features to market, from defining what they are for through to how they perform in the hands of customers.
Led people managers, in a scope that required prioritizing across teams, not tasks
Influence and stakeholder management at the most senior levels, creating alignment across a large part of the organization.
Moves fluidly between strategy and execution, keeping a very high quality bar.
Mobilization: getting teams that do not report to you moving toward a shared goal.
Branding, product and business acumen in equal measure — comfortable arguing brand equity and unit economics in the same conversation.
Analytical ability: turns complex customer and market data into actionable solutions.
Communicates across levels, functions and geographies.
