OMG produces investigative reporting, undercover journalism, and original programming focused on matters of public interest, institutional accountability, and government and corporate misconduct. Position Overview
O’Keefe Media Group is seeking a Marketing Director to expand its audience, increase revenue, and build a loyal community around O'Keefe Media Group news publication and My Price Is My Life Podcast, and future media initiatives.
This position leads audience development, digital marketing, paid advertising, sponsorships, merchandise promotion, and subscription growth across YouTube, X, Instagram, Facebook, email, podcasts, and emerging platforms. The Marketing Director will work across leadership, production, journalism, development, and operations to turn OMG’s content and mission into effective growth and revenue campaigns.
Success requires creativity, commercial judgment, initiative, accountability, and the ability to respond quickly in a fast-moving and politically sensitive media environment.
Areas of Accountability
Audience Growth and Engagement
Objective: Expand OMG’s reach and develop a loyal, engaged audience across its digital platforms.
Measures of Success
- Monthly reach, viewership, engagement, and subscriber counts grow consistently.
- Organic content and promotional campaigns increase awareness of OMG programming and investigations.
- Viewers increasingly convert into subscribers, members, donors, customers, and long-term supporters.

Subscription and Community Growth
Objective: Build a sustainable paid membership community that strengthens recurring revenue and audience loyalty.

- Strong moments from My Price Is My Life, interviews, investigations, and livestreams are consistently identified and promoted.

Paid Media and Campaign Performance
Objective: Use paid advertising and targeted campaigns to grow audiences and revenue efficiently.

Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in digital marketing, audience development, media marketing, revenue growth, sponsorships, or related fields.
- Demonstrated success growing audiences, subscriptions, customers, or digital revenue.
- Experience managing organic social media, paid advertising, email campaigns, and conversion funnels.
- Strong copywriting, editing, campaign development, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze audience behavior, campaign performance, and revenue metrics.
- Strong judgment, organization, initiative, and ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate with creative, editorial, development, operational, and executive teams.
- Willingness to work outside regular business hours when news developments or campaign needs require it.
