From the employer

Stanley/Stella is a premium blank apparel company committed to creating high-quality, sustainable products while building long-term partnerships with customers, dealers and industry stakeholders.

As we continue to develop our presence in North America, we are looking for a commercially driven sales leader who can accelerate growth, strengthen our market position and lead our sales organisation to the next stage.

As Vice President of Sales, you will own the commercial development of the North American market.
This is a senior leadership role combining commercial strategy, business development, key account management and people leadership.
We are looking for someone who can think strategically but is equally comfortable being in front of customers, developing new business, negotiating opportunities, strengthening relationships and coaching the team in the field.

This is a hands-on commercial leadership role. The successful candidate will not simply define the strategy and delegate its execution. They will actively contribute to market development, customer growth and revenue generation while building the capabilities of the sales organisation. Drive Commercial Growth
  • Own and drive the North American commercial growth strategy, translating business objectives into clear priorities, actions and measurable results
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across priority customer segments and channels.
  • Personally engage with key prospects and strategic customers to build long-term, value-based relationships
  • Develop and grow strategic accounts, ensuring strong customer engagement, retention and revenue growth
  • Identify market trends, opportunities and competitive dynamics and translate them into actionable commercial initiatives
  • Build a strong understanding of the North American blank apparel, decorator and distribution ecosystem
Develop the Market & Dealer Network
  • Strengthen and expand the North American dealer network in line with the company’s commercial strategy
  • Identify opportunities to improve market coverage, customer reach and channel performance
  • Develop strong relationships with dealers, decorators and other relevant industry stakeholders
  • Work closely with Marketing and other functions to strengthen Stanley/Stella’s positioning and visibility in the North American market
Lead & Develop the Sales Team
  • Lead, coach and develop the North American sales team, creating a high-performance and customer-focused culture
  • Provide clear direction, commercial coaching and hands-on support to team members
  • Develop the team’s strategic sales capabilities while maintaining a strong focus on execution and results
  • Set clear objectives, monitor performance and ensure accountability for commercial outcomes
  • Act as a role model for customer engagement, business development and commercial excellence
Bring Commercial Thought Leadership
  • Bring strong commercial judgement and market insight to the North American leadership agenda
  • Challenge existing approaches and identify new ways to accelerate growth
  • Use data, customer insights and market intelligence to inform commercial decisions
  • Balance short-term revenue opportunities with sustainable long-term market development
  • Collaborate closely with global leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure North American priorities are aligned with the broader business strategy
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in sales, business development and/or sales leadership, preferably within apparel, textiles, fashion, promotional products or another relevant B2B environment
  • A proven track record of personally driving revenue growth and developing new business
  • Strong experience managing and growing key customer relationships
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing sales teams
  • Strong commercial and strategic thinking combined with a highly hands-on approach
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing and relationship-building skills
  • A strong understanding of the North American commercial landscape and customer ecosystem
  • The credibility and energy to engage directly with customers, prospects, dealers and internal teams
  • A data-driven approach to commercial decision-making, without losing the human and relationship dimension of sales
  • Strong business judgement and the ability to move from strategy to execution quickly
  • Must be based within commutable distance of Orange County and willing to travel nationally up to 50–75% of the time
