Ipswich High School are seeking to appoint a creative, organised and digitally confident Content and Communications Officer to join our Marketing team. The role can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis, with a preference for a minimum of four days per week.

Located on an idyllic 87-acre campus on the banks of the River Orwell, Ipswich High School enjoys an enviable reputation of delivering outstanding academic results whilst maintaining a warm, welcoming and happy community of over 500 pupils, aged 3 – 18.

The Content and Communications Officer will play a key role in creating engaging, high-quality content that brings the school’s story to life and supports its reputation, pupil recruitment and wider community engagement.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has a strong visual eye and understands what makes content engaging
  • is proactive and confident in identifying stories and content opportunities
  • understands how audiences consume content across different digital channels
  • can balance creativity with accuracy, professionalism and attention to detail
