Essential duties include the following:
- Builds and maintains strong, long-term relationships with assigned mid-market clients, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
- Identifies opportunities to expand client utilization of existing services, improve account performance, and support mutually beneficial business growth.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of company products, services, and industry trends to effectively support client needs and provide strategic guidance.
- Develops and executes account management plans that align client objectives with company resources and solutions.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product Development, and Customer Support, to deliver exceptional client experiences and outcomes.
- Proactively addresses client concerns, escalates issues as needed, and coordinates resolution efforts to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Monitors account health, client engagement, and performance metrics, providing regular updates and insights to management.
- Champions client success by ensuring clients realize maximum value from company products and services while fostering long-term loyalty.
- Applies critical thinking and problem-solving skills to understand client challenges, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions that support client and company objectives.
- Limited travel may be required to attend client meetings, business reviews, and other account-related activities that support client success and retention.
Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is typically required.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in account management, sales, or a related customer-facing role.
- Knowledge of financial services, risk management, or related fields is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze issues, identify solutions, and implement them to meet client needs.
- Deep commitment to understanding and meeting client needs, along with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to establish and maintain trust with clients and colleagues.
