ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Director, Sales Events & Marketing will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of sales events, client experiences, and marketing initiatives supporting key company priorities and major events. This seasonal role will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Production, Creative, Communications, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality events and experiences for clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
YOUR DAY-DAY:
- Lead the planning and execution of sales events, client meetings, presentations, receptions, and other high-profile experiences.
- Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, logistics, vendors, venues, and production requirements.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to develop event strategies and experiences that support business objectives.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all event elements are aligned with company brand, messaging, and goals.
- Oversee event communications, invitations, guest lists, RSVPs, seating arrangements, and on-site logistics.
- Collaborate with Creative and Marketing teams on event materials, presentations, signage, digital assets, and promotional content.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, venues, and other event partners.
- Serve as a key point of contact during events and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth execution.
- Track event deliverables, deadlines, and budgets and provide regular updates to leadership.
- Support post-event follow-up, reporting, and evaluation of event outcomes.
- Provide strategic and hands-on support for special projects and major company initiatives as needed.
YOU HAVE:
- 7+ years of experience in event marketing, sales events, experiential marketing, entertainment, media, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing high-profile events and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with senior executives, clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-site during events, as required.
- Experience in the entertainment, media, sports, or advertising industries is a plus.
