We have an Area Account Manager role available covering Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire areas
This is a fantastic new opportunity for a driven sales professional to join a market-leading business, take ownership of a territory and make a real impact through customer growth, new business development and relationship management, while building a long-term career with Wolseley.
You'll be responsible for:
Driving sales and margin growth across your designated territory through proactive business development and account management.
Winning new customers while identifying opportunities to grow spend within existing accounts.
Building strong relationships with customer decision-makers through regular face-to-face engagement.
Working closely with branch teams to maximise sales opportunities and deliver outstanding customer service.
Promoting digital trading solutions and using market insights to increase customer engagement and grow market share.
This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Proven experience in account management, business development, field sales or a similar customer-facing sales role.
A strong track record of winning new business and growing customer accounts.
Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver results.
A self-motivated, resilient and target-driven approach, with experience in merchanting, distribution, wholesale or construction-related sectors being advantageous
