Commitment: Full-time
Contract type: Contractor
Working hours: Compatible with Eastern Time (EST)
English: C1/C2 required
Spanish: Ideally conversational level or above

At Workana, we are supporting the search for a Senior Paid Media Specialist for a digital marketing agency focused on the restaurant and hospitality industries in the United States.

We are looking for a hands-on, highly operational, organized, and performance-driven professional with solid experience managing campaigns directly within Meta Ads and Google Ads.

This person will have ownership over multiple accounts, budgets, tracking, attribution, and conversion optimization while working in a fast-paced agency environment.

Important: this is an execution-focused role. We are not looking for Managers, Heads of Marketing, or profiles mainly focused on strategy. We need someone who currently works inside Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads on a daily basis, executing, analyzing, troubleshooting, and optimizing campaigns.

What will you do?

Paid Media

  • Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns across Meta Ads and Google Ads for a portfolio of approximately 10–15 clients.
  • Manage between USD 50,000 and USD 60,000 in monthly ad spend.
  • Manage budgets, audiences, bidding strategies, creatives, and campaign performance.
  • Monitor KPIs such as CPL, CPA, CPC, CTR, CPM, and conversion rate on a daily basis.
  • Quickly identify campaigns with performance issues and take corrective action.
  • Create and manage Lookalike Audiences, Customer Lists, Retargeting Audiences, Exclusion Audiences, and advanced funnel-based segmentation.
  • Run A/B tests and continuous optimization initiatives.
  • Ensure campaigns are launched, monitored, and managed correctly from end to end.

Tracking & Attribution

  • Configure, validate, and troubleshoot:
    • Google Tag Manager.
    • Meta Pixel.
    • Conversions API.
    • Google Analytics 4.
    • Conversion events.
    • CRM integrations.
  • Validate that implementations are working correctly before considering a task complete.
  • Identify and resolve tracking, attribution, and conversion-related issues.
  • Maintain consistency between advertising platforms, CRM data, and reported results.

CRM & Marketing Operations

  • Work with CRMs, pipelines, workflows, and automations.
  • Configure and validate integrations related to leads and campaigns.
  • Troubleshoot automation or workflow issues when necessary.
  • Adapt quickly to new tools and platforms used by the agency.

Landing Pages & CRO

  • Optimize landing pages using WordPress, Elementor, GoHighLevel, or similar tools.
  • Run A/B tests on headlines, forms, CTAs, and other conversion-focused elements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates.

Reporting

  • Keep dashboards and performance reports up to date.
  • Document optimizations, results, and key learnings.
  • Build repeatable processes and playbooks.
  • Coordinate on a daily basis with Account Management, Project Management, and Design teams.

What we need from you

Must-have requirements

  • Advanced English level — C1 or C2.
  • 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Paid Media / Performance Marketing.
  • Recent experience directly managing Meta Ads and Google Ads.
  • Proven experience working in digital marketing, performance, or growth agencies.
  • Experience managing multiple clients and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment with shifting priorities and a high level of autonomy.
  • Experience managing advertising budgets and making data-driven decisions.
  • Strong command of Meta Ads and Google Ads.
  • Experience with:
    • Google Tag Manager.
    • Meta Pixel.
    • Conversions API.
    • Google Analytics 4.
    • Tracking and attribution.
  • Experience using CRMs and Marketing Automation tools.
  • Experience creating and managing advanced audiences.

Key competencies

Technical skills are important for this role, but we are also specifically looking for someone with:

  • Attention to detail: ability to catch mistakes and validate work before considering a task complete.
  • Ownership: taking responsibility for the final outcome, not just task execution.
  • Prioritization: understanding what requires immediate attention and what can wait.
  • Organization: managing multiple accounts and tasks without missing deadlines or deliverables.
  • Follow-through: completing tasks from start to finish and making sure everything works correctly.
  • Autonomy: moving work forward without requiring constant supervision.
  • Critical thinking and practical judgment: identifying situations that require action even when there is no explicit instruction.
  • Fast learning ability: quickly understanding new tools, processes, and business contexts.
  • Results orientation: turning data and insights into concrete actions.

Highly valued experience

  • Conversational Spanish or higher.
  • Experience working with restaurants, hospitality, franchises, or multi-location businesses.
  • Experience working with clients or companies in the United States.
  • Advanced experience with CRM and Marketing Automation.
  • Hands-on experience with GoHighLevel (GHL) or similar platforms.
  • Experience building workflows and pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Agency Analytics, Looker Studio, or similar reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with AI tools applied to marketing and performance.

The profile we are looking for

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys daily execution.

Someone who can open an account, quickly understand what is happening, identify problems, prioritize actions, and execute.

The ideal candidate:

  • Currently works directly inside Meta Ads and Google Ads.
  • Can demonstrate concrete results from campaigns they have managed.
  • Knows when to keep optimizing and when to shift focus to a higher-priority task.
  • Reviews and tests implementations before considering them complete.
  • Can manage multiple accounts without losing sight of important details.
  • Adapts quickly to new tools and processes.
  • Can work autonomously without expecting every step to be predefined.
  • Feels comfortable with the pace and dynamics of an agency environment.

This is not a team leadership or management role.

Conditions

  • 100% remote from Latin America.
  • Full-time.
  • Contractor.
  • Working hours compatible with Eastern Time.
  • Reports directly to the CEO.
  • Daily collaboration with Account Management, Project Management, and Design teams.
  • No frequent direct interaction with clients.

Hiring process

We want to be particularly thorough when evaluating both technical fit and operational fit for this role.

The process may include:

  1. Resume and relevant experience review.
  2. Initial screening with Workana’s Talent team.
  3. Review of real cases and results achieved in Meta Ads and Google Ads.
  4. Technical assessment through questions and/or a video exercise.
  5. Evaluation of tracking, attribution, and CRM experience.
  6. Assessment of competencies such as attention to detail, prioritization, ownership, and learning ability.
  7. Interviews with the team.
  8. Final interview with the CEO.

Before applying

This role may not be the right fit for you if:

  • Your recent experience has been mainly focused on management or strategy.
  • You have not worked directly inside Meta Ads and Google Ads during the last 12 months.
  • Your experience is concentrated only on one of the two platforms.
  • You do not have experience with tracking, pixels, or conversion events.
  • You have never managed multiple clients within an agency environment.
  • You need fully predefined processes in order to move your work forward.
  • You struggle to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • You are looking for a leadership or management role in the short term.
