What you'll do
- You'll edit and finish long-form YouTube videos plus Reels, Shorts and TikToks
- You'll refine raw footage, improve color and audio, and follow creative direction
- You'll add text, graphics, intros, outros and simple animated elements
- You'll create full-length and short versions, apply feedback, and meet editing and brand guidelines
- You'll keep project and media files clearly organized and archived
What you bring
- You're enrolled as a student and available for at least six to twelve months
- You have initial hands-on video editing experience and strong Adobe Premiere Pro skills
- You understand timing, rhythm and storytelling, with After Effects or Photoshop as an optional advantage
- You work independently and reliably, stay focused, and care about quality
- You have very strong written and spoken German
Who this fits
This role suits an enrolled student who wants hands-on video work within marketing, especially across YouTube and social media. You’ll work in Mainz in a hybrid setup, with mobile work possible by agreement after six months. The position is offered as a contractor role, and the listing notes potential continuation after your studies.

Für den Ausbau unseres Marketings suchen wir dich: einen kreativen, strukturierten und motivierten Werkstudenten (m/w/d) im Bereich Marketing mit Fokus Videoschnitt.

DEINE AUFGABEN:
Schnitt und Postproduktion von Video-Content für:
YouTube (Longform-Videos)
Social Media (Reels, Shorts, TikToks)
Feinschnitt von Rohmaterial nach inhaltlichen und stilistischen Vorgaben
Grundlegende Farbkorrektur (Basic Color Grading) und Tonoptimierung
Einbindung von Texteinblendungen, Grafiken, Intros/Outros und einfachen Animationen
Erstellung unterschiedlicher Videoformate aus einem Projekt (z. B. Langversion & Shortclips)
Umsetzung von Feedback aus dem Marketing-Team
Einhaltung von Deadlines sowie unserer Schnitt- und CI-Guidelines
Saubere Organisation und Ablage von Projekt- und Mediendateien
DEINE SKILLS:
Eingeschriebene/r Student/in (mind. noch 6–12 Monate verfügbar, gerne länger)
Erste praktische Erfahrung im Videoschnitt
Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects oder Photoshop von Vorteil, aber kein Muss)
Gespür für Timing, Rhythmus und Storytelling
Strukturierte, selbstständige und zuverlässige Arbeitsweise
Konzentrationsfähigkeit und hohes Qualitätsbewusstsein
Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
