About The Role

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Lead Visual Designer who loves pushing their thinking and taking it through to production. You'll flex in your role from pitching ideas to crafting web experiences to ensuring successful delivery. You know how to make people fall in love with an idea, and have the technical craft to turn that vision into world-class designs that resonate across surfaces - from marketing platforms and digital products to next-generation, multimodal AI experiences.

While this is primarily a maker role that will see you heavily involved in the work, you’ll have regular opportunities to partner closely with CDs and ACDs, be a leading voice in the day-to-day of projects, and gain skills and experience that will set you up the next step in your creative career.

As a Lead Designer at Beyond, you will

Deliver exceptional creative for high-impact web platforms, seamlessly connecting product utility with powerful brand storytelling and market positioning.
Translate bold, differentiated ideas into world-class client-facing deliverables, focusing on UI design, responsive frameworks, visual design systems, and interactive prototypes.
Create compelling presentation decks and prototypes, communicating the strategic thought and "why" behind your creative choices to C-suite clients and cross-functional teams.
Work fluidly with UX designers, product strategists, engineers, data scientists, and copywriters to ensure conceptual ideas are grounded in technical reality and seamless UX.
Operate as a skilled discipline lead, championing great design amongst project teams - and guiding more junior members of staff towards it where necessary.

What Success Looks Like

8+ years of experience in digital/interactive design (agency or in-house).
A proven track record of award-winning design, possessing the rare ability to see the "big picture" creative hook without losing sight of product execution.
Exceptional client-facing presentation skills. You can visualize an idea rapidly, build an inspiring narrative around it, and pitch it with conviction.
Deep mastery of Figma, visual hierarchy, typography, layout, and responsive frameworks. You build scalable design systems, not just one-off pages.
Confident designing for intelligent, adaptive, and context-aware systems. Enthusiastic about using AI creative tools to accelerate rapid concepting and prototyping.
Able to bring experiences to life and communicate interaction models through motion tools or code.
