From the employer

Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.

Hey, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte!

Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.

Where and how you can work

Sydney
Our flagship Sydney campus is uniquely Canva - an extension of our Surry Hills neighbourhood. It’s a thoughtfully designed space with plenty of room to collaborate, focus, and connect.

This role is based in Sydney, and we’re looking for someone who calls it home. Our hybrid way of working gives you the flexibility to work remotely, and to come together on campus for meaningful in-person collaboration and connection when it matters most. We trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Building and executing strategic account plans: You’ll take a data-led approach to identifying, prioritising and engaging high-value enterprise opportunities. You’ll analyse market dynamics, customer priorities and whitespace to translate strategy into focused account plans and sales activity.

  • Driving pipeline and revenue growth: You’ll own complex sales cycles from prospecting through to close, building a healthy pipeline, forecasting accurately and using Salesforce to create visibility and momentum across your portfolio.

  • Leading complex enterprise engagements: You’ll navigate large, matrixed organisations, multi-threading across stakeholders and building relationships with senior decision-makers to uncover business challenges and shape compelling solutions.

  • Putting customers at the centre: You’ll use compelling storytelling, thoughtful discovery and a strong understanding of customer needs to create a sales experience that feels relevant, personalised and valuable.

  • Becoming a Canva product expert: You’ll bring a deep understanding of Canva’s products and solutions to customer conversations, connecting capabilities to real business challenges. You’ll also bring customer and market insights back into Canva to help strengthen our product roadmap, value proposition and customer experience.

  • Building long-term partnerships: You’ll create trusted relationships with customers and collaborate closely with internal teams across Product, Engineering, Customer Success and Post-Sales to deliver great outcomes.

  • Bringing chaos to clarity: You’ll simplify complex ideas, challenges and commercial opportunities into clear, persuasive customer stories and materials using Canva’s worksuite, including Presentations and Docs.

  • Leading commercial negotiations: You’ll confidently navigate complex negotiations, balancing customer needs with Canva’s commercial objectives to create sustainable, long-term partnerships.

You're probably a match if

  • You have significant experience owning full-cycle enterprise sales, with a strong track record of new-logo acquisition and consistently delivering against ambitious revenue targets.

  • You’ve worked with large, named accounts, ideally across complex or global organisations, and know how to build thoughtful account strategies that create momentum over time.

  • You’re confident navigating complexity, uncovering business challenges and translating them into clear, commercially compelling solutions.

  • You know how to multi-thread across an organisation, build relationships with senior and executive stakeholders and create alignment across multiple decision-makers.

  • You can develop detailed account plans that bring together customer priorities, stakeholder maps, commercial opportunities and clear next steps.

  • You’re a compelling communicator who can bring ideas to life in both virtual and face-to-face environments, particularly with senior audiences.

  • You have a strong track record of leading complex commercial negotiations and progressing opportunities through long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

  • You’re comfortable operating in ambiguity, adapting quickly and maintaining momentum in a fast-moving environment.

  • You’re naturally curious, customer-focused and motivated by helping organisations change the way they create, communicate and collaborate.
