Senior Multimedia Designer - Motion Design

As a Senior Multimedia Designer - Motion Design, you will have a natural eye for design across print and digital media mediums, with a strong focus on motion design. You will possess the drive to inspire dynamic ideas which connect with our audience. You will be working with a team of designers and videographers in close partnership with the editorial and marketing wings, delivering quality work across our Marketing platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and produce high-quality motion graphics, animations, and video content for digital platforms, including social media, websites, and advertisements.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and content creators to bring concepts to life through motion and animation.
• Edit and enhance video footage with special effects, transitions, and dynamic graphics.
• Be involved in and contribute to brainstorming sessions with the team, maintaining our brand identity and developing innovative initiatives.
• Receive and apply feedback on the design received from the Line Manager.
• Analyse trends and keep up with the times. Research new technologies/techniques and how they can be practically applied to our design.
• Self-manage and take ownership of the design task assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.

Experience:

• At least 7+ years of experience in a client-side/agency environment.
• Proven experience as a multimedia graphic designer with a strong portfolio showcasing motion design and animation work.
• Experience in developing marketing/advertising campaigns.

Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of visual ideation/ colour theory/typography and design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) in a multimedia context.
• Advanced proficiency with Multimedia Design Software (After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro).
• Familiarity with 3D motion design and modelling tools (e.g., Cinema 4D or Blender).
• Strong understanding of core animation principles, timing, weight, and visual dynamics.
• Knowledge of digital asset optimisation and export settings across various web, social media, and digital platforms.
