Requirements
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Communications Cloud Developer with strong experience in building and customizing Salesforce solutions for the telecommunications and communications industry. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions using Salesforce Communications Cloud, Industries (Vlocity) components, and native Salesforce technologies to support complex B2B and B2C use cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement solutions using Salesforce Communications Cloud and Salesforce Industries (Vlocity)
- Configure and customize OmniStudio components including:
- OmniScripts
- DataRaptors
- Integration Procedures
- FlexCards
- Build and maintain product catalogues, pricing, promotions, and order management solutions tailored for telecom use cases
- Develop custom functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, and SOQL
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Event-based integrations, and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft)
- Support order capture, order orchestration, service management, and billing integrations
- Collaborate with solution architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs
- Ensure best practices for performance, security, scalability, and maintainability
- Conduct unit testing, support UAT, and assist with release deployments
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements post-implementation
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of Salesforce development experience
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Communications Cloud or Salesforce Industries (Vlocity)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Apex, LWC, Aura
- OmniStudio (OmniScripts, DataRaptors, FlexCards, Integration Procedures)
- Salesforce Data Model and Security
- Experience with telecommunications domain concepts such as:
- Product catalog management
- CPQ, Order Management, and Service Fulfilment
- B2B/B2C customer journeys
- Experience with system integrations and API development
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
