The Senior Director - International Brand Experience is responsible for building and executing marketing plans that achieve Inspire International’s business ambitions and brand vision. This includes clearly defining consumer targets and insights, monitoring competitive activity, identifying white space, leading the annual brand planning process, and spearheading the development of multi-year growth strategies that strengthen brand focus, topline sales, field support, speed to market, and create global consistency with flexibility for local market adaptation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Annual Brand Planning and Marketing Plans: Lead the International cross-functional annual brand planning process, including global marketing calendars, priorities, and annual budget requirements
- Build global marketing plans that advance International business ambitions and brand vision
- Translate brand priorities into clear roadmaps, activation plans, and market-facing initiatives
- Monitor in-year and lead adjustments to global plans based on performance, forecasts, risks, opportunities, and market dynamics
- Oversee ad hoc strategic projects as part of the International growth acceleration plans
- Consumer Strategy: Define priority consumer targets and learning agendas that guide brand, menu, value, pricing, and activation decisions
- Lead insight development across segmentation, journey, attitudes and usage, and consumer performance goals
- Convert consumer, cultural, category, competitive, and macro trends into actionable growth opportunities
- Apply research and test learnings across product, menu, value, brand, and consumer initiatives
- Long-Term Growth Strategy: Spearhead multi-year growth strategies that define long-term brand, business, and consumer goals across International markets
- Monitor competitive activity and market dynamics to identify white space, risks, and growth opportunities
- Recommend strategic priorities and resource allocation to achieve brand and business objectives
- Oversee strategic projects that accelerate International growth and market implementation
- Team Management & Development: Lead brand experience and cross-functional teams to create clear ownership, faster speed to market, and disciplined execution
- Lead, coach, and develop the brand experience team
- Lead and align cross-functional teams across brand marketing and growth initiatives to support field teams, franchisees, licensees, and cross-functional partners around priorities, readiness, execution, and follow-up
- Establish frameworks, guardrails, and playbooks that enable global consistency and local flexibility
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience in brand management, brand experience, or related marketing leadership roles
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- Restaurant/QSR experience required; International experience preferred
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, OR ABILITIES
- Strategic brand marketer with a general manager mindset, strong business acumen, analytical discipline, and P&L fluency
- Deep understanding of brand marketing fundamentals, including brand positioning, competitive dynamics, pricing, purchase cycle, consumer recruitment and retention, and macro trends
- Creative thinker and conceptual problem-solver who can identify white space across international markets and convert insights into scalable growth strategies
- Strong consumer orientation, including journey mapping, segmentation, attitudes and usage, identification of consumer targets, and insight development
- Proven ability to lead annual planning, marketing calendars, budget planning, and cross-functional execution
- Thrives in collaborative, matrixed, and cross-functional organizations with a strong ability to influence stakeholders and align teams behind a common vision
- Adaptable, agile leader who performs effectively in a fast-paced, international, multi-brand environment
- Effective communicator with ability to speak and write concisely and persuasively across executive, internal, external, franchisee, and licensee audiences
- Proven track record developing high-performing teams and mentoring talent
This position is based in our Atlanta Support Center, with an expected on-site presence of 80%.
