Job Description and Requirements

Job Description and Requirements

Market, Buyer and Commercial Intelligence

  • Build decision-quality market intelligence: develop an evidence-based understanding of law firm market dynamics, subsegments, buyer behavior, buying situations, alternatives, competitors and commercial barriers; identify implications and recommendations for the team.
  • Establish repeatable competitive and win/loss intelligence: synthesize competitive activity, field objections, win/loss patterns and market developments; translate findings into recommendations for positioning, Product, Sales and GTM plans.
  • Monitor relevant market, customer and industry signals and convert findings into concise, decision-ready points of view for cross-functional stakeholders.

Commercial Go-to-Market Planning

  • Develop GTM plans for assigned commercial priorities: define target audiences, customer problems, use cases, value propositions, buyer journeys, field requirements, cross-functional actions and success measures; lead planning and readiness.
  • Translate approved Law Firm Segment priorities into clear briefs, work-streams and recommendations that execution partners can activate.
  • Coordinate across Product Marketing, Product, Growth, International, Sales, Customer Success, Legal Consulting and other partners to ensure assigned GTM work-streams are aligned and ready for market.

Law Firm Launch Readiness

  • Translate central product launch strategy into law-firm-specific market requirements, use cases, buyer implications, field requirements and readiness recommendations.
  • Partner with core Product Marketing while maintaining the boundary that central Product Marketing owns product-level positioning and launch strategy.
  • Identify segment-specific gaps in positioning, proof, enablement, customer experience or cross-functional readiness and recommend actions to address them.

Sales Enablement and Field Effectiveness

  • Develop segment sales plays, buyer insights, competitive guidance, use-case guidance and commercial enablement for law firm sellers and customer-facing teams.
  • Partner with Sales Enablement on delivery and reinforcement and evaluate the usefulness and adoption of enablement.
  • Synthesize field feedback and objections to improve GTM plans, competitive positioning, and future enablement

Acquisition, Adoption and Expansion Insights

  • Analyze market, sales, customer and usage signals to identify barriers and opportunities across acquisition, adoption and expansion.
  • Recommend interventions to Law Firm Segment Marketing leadership and relevant execution teams. Customer Success, Legal Consulting, Growth and lifecycle teams retain execution ownership.
  • Connect customer and commercial evidence to recommendations for future GTM priorities, experiences and programs.

Performance Analysis and Recommendations

  • Interpret commercial, GTM, competitive and adoption data to identify what the team should continue, change, stop or investigate.
  • Work with Marketing Operations and other data owners to use available reporting while respecting their ownership of infrastructure, methodology, attribution and data integrity.
  • Communicate findings clearly to cross-functional and leadership audiences, distinguishing evidence, implications and recommended action.

What Success Looks Like

  • Market and competitive insights are timely, decision-ready and used to improve GTM choices.
  • Assigned commercial GTM work-streams have clear audiences, problems, value propositions, cross-functional actions and success measures.
  • Law firm launches reflect segment-specific market requirements and customer realities.
  • Sales and customer-facing teams use the resulting buyer, use-case and competitive guidance.
  • Performance analysis leads to clear recommendations and measurable improvements in readiness and execution.

Minimum Qualifications
