Who this fits

You’ll suit a role with hands-on event ownership, cross-functional Sales work, and end-to-end webinar responsibility. You’re expected to use AI tools as part of your workflow, make decisions with incomplete briefs, and stay effective when plans change. The role is based in Vienna with flexible hours, hybrid work, and the option to work from anywhere for up to eight weeks each year

From the employer

Most companies find out about supplier insolvencies, cyber attacks, factory fires or floods that affect their supply chain when it's already a crisis. Prewave exists to change that. We're an AI-native company giving BMW Group, Hilti and Lufthansa real-time visibility into supply chain risks before they become headlines.

We're looking for a Field & Event Marketing Manager (f/m/d) who takes ownership of Prewave's event and field marketing execution from day one. Someone who uses AI as a default part of how they work - and knows when to trust their own judgment.

  • Own the operational planning and execution of assigned events so that every conference, trade show and customer event delivers a seamless attendee experience.
  • Partner on Prewave's full event and field marketing program, spanning sponsored conferences, trade shows, webinars, executive roundtables, customer events, partner events and our annual flagship event, so that our presence stays consistent across formats.
  • Drive regional field marketing initiatives, including integrated campaigns and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs, in close collaboration with Sales, so that marketing and sales efforts stay aligned around target accounts.
  • Manage webinar programs end-to-end - registrations, speaker coordination, moderation and delivery - so that webinars run smoothly and generate quality pipeline.
  • Build marketing assets and communications, including invitation emails, registration pages and campaign messaging, so that every touchpoint reflects Prewave's brand.
  • Champion accurate reporting by measuring campaign and event performance and maintaining data in HubSpot and Salesforce

You are the right fit if you:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Event Management or a related field.
  • Bring 2-3 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing or event management at a B2B SaaS company
  • Have hands-on experience planning and delivering trade shows, conferences, webinars and other B2B marketing events, combined with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Communicate fluently in both German and English.
  • Have experience working with Sales and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Are comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Hold a valid Austrian work permit.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with webinar platforms.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce.

We're a resilient AI-native team building an AI-native resilience product - and we hire for both. For us, AI-native has always meant humans and AI working together, not one replacing the other. We use tools like Gemini and Claude as a normal part of the job, to think faster, work smarter and spend less time on the repetitive stuff. We treat AI fluency as a skill like any other - something you build, experiment with and keep developing.

What goes with that is real ownership. You'll have the space and the trust to figure things out your way - with a strong team around you and plenty of support when you need it. Things move fast here and the brief won't always be complete, but that's what makes the work interesting.

The people who do best at Prewave are curious by default, go after things rather than wait to be handed them, and don't lose their footing when the plan changes.

We score five values in every interview - creating positive impact through our successful customers, being an ambitious innovator, operating with urgency, doing things that make sense and collaborating with kindness - so you always know what we're looking for and can prepare accordingly.

Minimum EUR 35,658 gross annually. Flexible hours and hybrid working.

Your birthday off. MyClubs partnership. Mental health support. Regular health check-ups and initiatives. Company-wide training. Fun team events. Device of choice. Work from anywhere - up to 8 weeks a year.
