How You Will Support the Mission
Define and lead the audio and video strategy for Opinions, ensuring alignment with The Post’s editorial mission and growth objectives.
Supervise and mentor a team of multimedia professionals, fostering creativity, accountability, and excellence.
Partner closely with opinion editors, writers, and columnists to translate ideas into dynamic multimedia formats.
Identify new opportunities for storytelling formats, distribution channels, and audience engagement.
Manage production timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver high-quality audio and video content consistently.
Ensure multimedia projects are integrated across The Post’s digital platforms, optimizing reach and impact.
Skills & Experience You Bring
Demonstrated success in multimedia journalism, with significant experience in both audio and video production.
Strong editorial judgment and ability to shape complex ideas into accessible, compelling stories.
Proven leadership and management experience, with the ability to inspire, coach, and guide creative teams.
Deep understanding of audience engagement and platform-specific best practices.
Track record of developing and executing strategy in a newsroom or media environment.
Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to prioritize multiple initiatives.
- Rigorous emphasis on factual accuracy and high editorial standards.

The salary range for this position is:
$122,500 - $204,100 AnnualThe actual salary within this range will depend on individual skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements. This position may be eligible for a bonus or incentive program, and a member of the Talent Acquisition team will discuss bonus payment terms and conditions during the interview process.
